Company makes receipt printer installation easier for users of
open source POS software
LINCOLNSHIRE, IL – January 28, 2009 – CognitiveTPG announces the addition of JavaPOS (Java for Point of Sale) drivers to its installation CD for A798 and A799 receipt printers. JPOS has become a standard for Java-based point of sale (POS) software. The company's support for JavaPOS allows users with Java based applications on Windows and Linux based operating systems to network with its printers, further enhancing CognitiveTPG’s offerings and value to the marketplace.
